What we collect

Upright Net Terms is built to know as little as possible. We store, per store:

• Your shop domain and an API access token Shopify issues to us.
• Your settings: whether automatic reminders are on, and how often they re-send.
• A reminder history: the order ID and timestamp of each invoice reminder, so we can show "last reminded" and never send too often.

Your unpaid orders (order numbers, amounts, payment terms, due dates) are read live from Shopify each time you open the dashboard — we display them, but we don't keep a copy.

What we never collect

We do not collect, store, or process customer personal information: no names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no shipping or billing addresses. Reminder emails are sent by Shopify itself — the same invoice email Shopify sends for unpaid orders — so your customers' contact details never pass through our systems at all.

Data sharing

We never sell or share store data with third parties. Data lives in our production database (Cloudflare) and is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Data retention and deletion

All of your store's data is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app (on Shopify's app/uninstalled webhook), and again upon Shopify's GDPR shop/redact webhook 48 hours later. Because we hold no customer personal data, customer-level GDPR requests require no action on our side.
